Cosmetology, MAC, Provides Grant for Female Condom
Grants for cosmetology school come from a variety of resources and, while this posting doesn’t pertain to the actual grant for cosmetology school, it does provide information about the grants given by cosmetology or beauty organizations.
In a CNN report this week, MAC, the makers of cosmetics and beauty products, has provided a $500,000 grant through its MAC AIDS Fund to provide the free distribution of female condoms in the Washington, DC area. This is a great grant program that will assist many women who need to feel empowered by taking control over the sexual health and MAC has provided this program.
If you are a cosmetology student, you may want to consider looking for grants for cosmetology school and remember to turn to local organizations who provide grants that help communities. While this isn’t a grant for education, it does show these companies can assist in the right needs where there is a need presented. Just like companies that provide sports grants, the cosmetics business is stepping up to support at-risk groups.
